Tbilisi-Kutaisi-Batumi-Cappadocia
It is time to explore ...
Day 1: Arrival
After arrival in Tbilisi International Airport, once you collect all your luggage and go to "Arrivals" Section of the Airport, our company representative will meet you in the Airport holding a board with your Name written on it. She / He will accompany you to the vehicle and will take you to your hotel to Check-in to your room and rest for a day to get over the jetlag and gather strength until beginning your adventure.
Day 2: Tbilisi city tour + Old Town Mtskheta-Samtavro and Jvari Monastery tour
After breakfast full day tour in Tbilisi. We will start our tour with visiting The Bridge of peace and beautiful European Park which is situated in the Old Town, from the park we proceed the way by cable car to Narikala Fortress. Exploring the Tbilisi Old Town with Sulfur Baths and Leghvtakhevi Waterfall – this district is called “Abanotubani”. Wisit the Metekhi Church ( 12th century) and The Holy Trinity Cathedral (Constructed between 1995 and 2004). After we will visit: Ancient city of Mtskheta, Samtavro and Jvari Monastery (6th century), Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century).
Day 3: Ananuri -Gudauri-Kazbegi
After breakfast transfer to Mtiuleti region. On the way to Kazbegi we will visit Ananuri fortress: seat the Dukes of Aragvi and its earliest parts date from the 13th century. The fortress is on the UNESCO Tentative list. We will continue our tour by visiting Friendship Monument - the monument is a large round stone and concrete structure overlooking the Devil's Valley in the Caucasus Mountains. Thereafter we will visit Gergeti Trinity Church - The Church is situated on the right bank of the river Chkheri (the left tributary of the river Terek). Will enjoy the stunning views of Mount Kazbeki, the third highest mountain in Georgia (after Mount Shkhara and Janga). Back to Tbilisi Hotel and overnight.
Day 4: Sighnaghi - Bodbe – Tsinandali Museum tour
After breakfast transfer to Kakheti region. Visit: Sighnaghi (City of love), a small town in the east of Georgia situated on the mountainside. It was founded in the 17th century. Is famous for its long city walls (18th Century), with watchtowers, there are well preserved 4.5 kilometer of stone walls and you can get the magnificent view of the Alazan valley and the great Caucasus Mountain. A famous Bodbe Monastery (4th century). Tour continues in Tsinandali Museum.
Prince Alexander Chavchavadze, the founder of the Georgian romanticism turned the estate in the village of Tsinandali, which he inherited from his father into cultural and intellectual center of the country, the status it preserves to this day.
The complex in Tsinandali embraces the memorial house, a landscape garden, a historical winery, wine cellar, hotel and a café. The vineyards have been restored and wine production has resumed. Explore the territory of Tsinandali.Visit Korporation Kindzmarauli for wine degustation.
Back to Tbilisi Hotel & overnight.
Day 5: Transfer to Batumi
After breakfast check-out from a hotel and transfer to Batumi.
On the road visit : Prometheus and Sataplia caves. Check-in at a hotel in Batumi. You will have free time for evening strolls in the beautiful streets of Batumi. Overnight in Batumi.
Day 6: Cultural Tour - Legends of Adjara
After breakfast departure from Batumi. We will visit : Gonio Fortress; Jvari Panorama; Makhuntseti Waterfall and Queen Tamar bridge; Village Mirveti – Buxus Forest – Waterfall ; Machakhela Gun Monument. Back to a Hotel and overnight.
Day 7 : Departure to the Georgian-Turkish border
After breakfast check-out from a hotel and move to the Georgian-Turkish border.
Arrival by Drive to Cappadocia
Check-in in your hotel. Free and easy to enjoy your cave hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 8 : Cappadocia (Underground City) Tour
After breakfast, meet your driver and guide in the hotel lobby. We’ll depart for your Cappadocia Underground City tour. First, we will visit Red valley to explore its famous rock – cut churches and Hike 5 km through the Gulludere valley. We’ll visit Cavusin village, famous for its houses and churches of Christian clergymen. After lunch we’ll drive to Pigeon Valley and we’ll visit the Kaymakli underground city where early Christians lived in fear of invaders. Overnight in Cappadocia
Day 9 : Cappadocia (Regional) Tour
After breakfast at your hotel, we’ll depart around 09:00AM to visit the sights and unique geographical landscape of Cappadocia, including the Devrent Valley and its fairy-chimneys; Pasabag (Monk’s Valley) and its mushroom-shaped pinnacles; Avanos, a center of terra-cotta art, for a pottery demonstration and lunch. After lunch, we will visit the Goreme Open Air Museum with its rock-cut churches that date back hundreds of years, many filled with excellent examples of Byzantine art. Our last stop is a visit to the Uchisar rock castle for a panoramic view of the valleys of Cappadocia. After tour, transfer to airport for domestic flight to Istanbul. Our representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Istanbul. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 10 : Cappadocia–Goodbye Turkey
Hotel’s buffet breakfast. Enjoy the rest of the day before your departurure
